Pastor Bill Jenkins ~ Senior Pastor
Pastor Bill Jenkins, founder and Senior Pastor of the Church of ACTS, is one of the young prophets God is raising up in the last of the last days to tear down the devil’s strongholds.
Bill Jenkins had quite a future planned. At the age of seventeen, he was to sign a contract with the A-Ball affiliate of the Kansas City Royals, a long-time dream to be a professional baseball player fulfilled. However, three days before his eighteenth birthday, he had an encounter with God that changed his life and his future.
So, instead of heading for spring training, he became a youth pastor and evangelist in Chicago, Illinois. His next step was to head toward Dallas, Texas, to attend the Christ for the Nations Bible college. After graduation in May of 1990, God spoke to Pastor Bill to go to the heart of America and get the spiritual heart pumping and the blood flowing. So, he traveled to Indianapolis, Indiana, and the Church of ACTS was set in motion.
The first services were held in a funeral home. As the congregation grew, the church purchased a 5,400 sq. ft. warehouse building and began holding services there in December of 1992. As the Holy Spirit continued to move, the church had a powerful increase in growth. On April 16, 2003, the Church of ACTS had its first service in their newly constructed church building. In May of 2006, the church completed a Youth Recreation building that is home to ACTS Academy preschool and Club ACTS, a teen club, making the Church of ACTS one of the fastest growing churches in Indianapolis.
In addition to the ACTS Academy preschool, Pastor Bill founded the ACTS Bible Institute in January of 2003. In June of 2006, the Institute became ACTS Bible College, offering accreditation through the Oral Roberts University.
ACTS stands for Anointed Christians Tormenting Satan. Through our television outreach and dynamic services, people are being set free, saved, delivered, and healed of incurable diseases.
Jennifer Rang ~ Associate Pastor
Jennifer is an ordained minister in the Church of God. Jennifer is passionate about enabling believers to find and excel in their uniqueness and gifting. She is an anointed teacher of the Word and is discovering her writing gift as well. Jennifer is excited about pursuing future ministry opportunities including finishing her bachelor's degree. Jennifer has been married to her husband, Jim, for over 19 years and they have five wonderful children.
Joe & Carol Collar ~ Prayer Coordinators
Originally from Ohio , the Collars have lived in Indiana and attended LFCOG
for over 25 years. Their heart is focused on the indispensable ministry of
prayer. Joe & Carol lead various prayer groups in the church and oversee
our Prayer & Intercession ministries while also serving as Discipleship
Trainers. They have three grown children and several grand (and great-grand)
children.
Kathy Martin ~ Children's Pastor
Kathy and her husband, Gordon, have attended LFCOG for more than 20 years.
They have been an integral part of many areas of ministry in the church.
Kathy served as our church secretary for 15 years and has been involved with
ministry to children here for the past 22 years. Many of our youth and young
adults remember with fondness the years of anointed ministry they received
from "Miss Kathy". Her obvious gifting for working with children
has also lead to Kathy serving as the Elementary Director for Cornerstone
Christian Academy . Kathy & Gordon have three adult children all actively
serving the Lord.
